To qualify for an ASPIRE Scholarship, you must be:

  • A high school or GED graduate.
  • Pursuing a career-oriented course of study to ensure a better standard of living for your family.
  • Living at or near the poverty level of Federal Poverty Guidelines
  • An applicant of the Pell Grant.

Please note that persons who have previously earned a bachelor's degree do not qualify for this scholarship.

Also note that for purposes of ASPIRE a Single Parent Family is defined as a family with children under age 21 headed by a parent who is single, legally separated, divorced or widowed and not co-habiting with former or current spouse or partner.
