What We Aspire For
The goals of the ASPIRE program are to:

  • decrease the number of single-parent households that rely on state or federal assistance
  • increase the number of qualified applicants for technical, medical, professional and other positions requiring post-secondary training
  • impact generations of Americans by breaking the cycle of poverty for many who would otherwise have no means of attaining higher education

Mission Statement
ASPIRE exists to provide economic, social, and personal opportunity to single parent families through higher education.

Vision
We accomplish this by working with state, local, and regional single parent scholarship affiliates to build strong scholarship programs with a holistic approach.

Purpose
We provide this support through leadership, organizational training, and mentorship to program affiliates that provide scholarship and non-monetary support to single parents pursuing post-secondary education.
